- The North Hastings Cultural Coalition will help bridge the gap that exists between the cultural, business and municipal sectors
- It will work with existing organizations to facilitate collaboration and partnerships on cultural initiatives
- It will work to encourage municipalities to view planning and development through a cultural lens
- It will keeps its 'eyes open' for cultural opportunities and for ways to help strengthen and support the cultural sector
- It will strive to maintain/update the cultural inventory and implement recommendations as per the North Hastings Municipal Cultural Planning Project report

The North Hastings Cultural Coalition is a group of volunteers committed to the sustainability and strength of our region's culture and to the promotion and implementation of Municipal Cultural Planning. The coalition is made up of individuals from the cultural, business and municipal sectors. Our core roles:
We connect regularly, but meet 4 times per year in September, November, January and March. Our meetings are open and we welcome the participation of others who are interested in what we're working towards.
